DEADLINE: OCTOBER 12

Howdy!

Wow, we are only 93 days away from getting on a plane headed to Nicaragua! WHOOHOOO.

If you have decided to go on the trip, YUSS. If you haven’t already, PLEASE fill out the survey I posted earlier – it’s how I know how many plane tickets to reserve. I need a $50 check made out to “High Point Travel” by the end of MONDAY, or else I can’t reserve your ticket.

So excited to see how God is going to move! If you have already decided to go, please be in prayer about the people still thinking about it.

Much love,

Courtney Porter

So You’re Interested In Serving Nicaragua

Howdy! My name is Courtney Porter, and I am the Service and Missions Director for Texas A&M University’s Philadelphia Sisters. I am so excited that you have decided to look into going on this mission trip! We have loved serving Nicaragua through Chosen Children Ministries for the last several years.

We hope that you prayerfully consider coming with us this year! While only a week long, we have seen God move in powerful ways during that time. God invented time—He can use it however He sees fit!

If you have any questions, feel free to email me at philliesphilanthropy@gmail.com or text me if you already have my number!

For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written,“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?”So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
